The youth of today, and anyone with a brain that hasn’t been brainwashed by a faux Christian upbringing, are on board with equality for all. This is a losing debate for the right-wing who still seems to think hating on an entire subset of human beings will help get them elected.
Gay individuals in the United States should “have a sense of perspective” because they’re not being hung? Seriously? Wow. To even use that as analogy proves that Cotton has thought about this long and hard. Is he also in favor of domestic abuse or child abuse? Well at least the abuser isn’t killing them, right? Wrong…. it’s still abuse, and so is legislated discrimination like the “religious freedom” bill in Indiana and several other states. It’s not okay, it’ll never be okay, and these Republicans need to get with the times. These are the same jerks that though Jim Crow laws were also “religious freedom"."
